"Don't Lose Faith"

By: Romona Geohaghan

 “Cough!” “Cough!”
“Sneeze!” “Sneeze!”
Many university students are having shortness of breath; but, it’s not the Corona Virus, its assignments making them sick.

Have you ever been in a situation where it feels as if everything is caving in and you’re suffocating? If you’re in university right now, you may know what I’m talking about.

With this Corona Virus Pandemic, the cry of some of my friends and schoolmates are that assignments and projects are piling up. For others, it’s not so much about the assignments, but it is more about the lack or unavailability of certain resources. These resources may be money, laptop, WIFI, etc.

Helping Hand

If you find yourself reading this and food, internet, or money isn’t a lacking necessity for you, then be grateful for what you have, and don’t forget to be kind with it. It would be a grand gesture if you could share some of your resources with someone who is in need.

My heart pains me to think about those college students who could only manage to do assignments at school because they don’t have the right resources, or a comfortable work area.
University life can be challenging, and this virus outbreak has made the situation worse for some students.Students who could only get assignments done by borrowing their roommates’ resources are now without help because their friends are no longer nearby. So, I’m encouraging those of you who have enough, to give!

2 Corinthians 9:7 says that, “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Little is much when God is in it. So, if you are in need, don’t quit! Always pray, and work hard with what you have.

God is a provider. He always makes a way for me, and He never fails me yet. So, I know He will come through for you. During this time, I check up on my friends and offer help in any way that I can. You can also check up on your friends and help them in whatever way you can too.

This period may be hard, but you have life, and health! You may not have it all, but you have a God!
God never fails, even when everyone else does. Proverbs 3:5 reminds us to have faith in God. It says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart.”

So, trust God, and remember, no matter how hard things get, don’t lose faith.

Here’s a quote that I would love to leave with you: "With God, there’s always an appointed time for things, and when you put Him first, trust in His timing, and keep the faith, miracles happen!" - Germany Kent.

    1. Yes. Roman 8: 28 reminds us that all things are working together for the good of those who love God.

  4. Amen! Well said. We should always lend a helping hand to those who are in need, because one day, we too might be in a similar position where we would need help, and it's the good that we do for others that will follow us throughout out lifetime. God blesses us, not for us to sit on our blessings, but to share it with others.
